I've been working at Amos in Charlotte for about two years I have seen opening acts come and go. You sing your music with such raw emotion and heart. If any artist deserves to make it you most definately deserve that.

I went to the Sister Hazel show last night and really liked your sound. I go to schoo at Union College in upstate new york, give me a shout with when you might be in the area and your info because I would like to try and get you to play at my school.
Good luck with the rest of your shows!

Hey Andrew!

I know you probably get tons of emails like these--but what the heck. I met you at the concert in Charlotte on last Wednesday when you opened for Sister Hazel at Amos Southend. And you were great. I bought your CD and you signed it for me--and I really enjoy listening to it. There is something about your music that just makes me want to tap my feet or do a little dance :)

And.... you mentioned that you were heading back to Charlotte, but I cant seem to find any dates anywhere. When will you be back? I graduated from Queens Univeristy in Charlotte in May 2007, moved to Honduras, and now Im back a year later. I know Charlotte pretty well so if you are looking for some friends to get dinner with or to show you around when you come back, let me know!

Hope all is going really well with you and have a great night :)

Peace,
Alice

I think senility has taken over with us because we had marked last Friday as your date at the Juggling Gypsy in Wilmington, and of course, you were there on Thursday. We hope you will come back to Wilmington soon. We really enjoy you, and love to listen to your CDs. Have a great holiday.

Hi Andrew,
I hope this finds you well and thoroughly recovered from CMJ! I had a great experience as the moderator on the Artist X: DIY Route and as a mentor to indie artists in a mentoring session. I'm contacting you because now that everything has settled down, you must be thinking "Now what? What's the next step?" Well, you should consider Music Gorilla as your next step. Music Gorilla is one of the leading commercial marketplaces for independent musicians and their works. We help artists get their songs heard and licensed by labels, music publishers and players in the television, film, advertising and Web/gaming industries. We put on several Major Label Showcases a year where the performing artists actually get written feedback on their performances from attending A&R reps.

Interested? I would think so. At Music Gorilla we take no piece of any deals made on the site. We are membership based and we are offering a great discount on our services for CMJ Artists. Normally the monthly payment price for our services including the unlimited film, tv and songwriting submissions would be $24.95, but we're offering CMJ artists a 25% discount on that, so your monthly payment would be $18.71.
For that fee, you get access to unlimited film, tv and songwriting submissions, you'll have the opportunity to get heard by record labels, publishers, music supervisors and other industry reps.
If you're ready to sign up, you can do that here: http://musicgorilla.com/artist_registration.asp and make sure you enter the promo code CMJ for your 25% discount.
If you've still got questions or are feeling unsure, please give us the opportunity to address any uncertainty you may have.

If you're not interested in signing up for membership, but you are interested in the opportunity to perform at our Live Label Showcase Series which takes place during SXSW, you can sign up to be considered here: http://www.musicgorilla.com/Austin-2009-Showcases.htm 5 Non Music Gorilla Members will be selected to perform.

I can be reached via email at alexia@musicgorilla.com or via phone at the number below.
I look forward to working with you.
Thanks for your time,
Alexia

Did you play in the bar at the River House Tavern in Westport,CT last summer (or was it the summer before?)? Trying to figure out if you're the same person who totally impressed my husband and I....I'd written down your name at the time and misplaced it....saw an article on you in the Fairfield newspaper and it was all sounding familiar..
just wondering....if it is you, I'm excited to see how well you're doing!!!

Hey man, just wanted to say again that your show last night was one of the best I have seen in a long while. I saw a great band called M-lab recently in New York; while they are a different genre than yours, I liken them to you in the fact that they have a truly original sound. I always appreciate something new and I know that is is a pain to produce such originality on the fly... however, once you have it down and you truly feel your music, something magic happens and it sounds like what you produced last night. Anywho, hit me up if you are ever around the TN/NC area again and I will come check you out. If you need a studio, let me know as I have access to the largest in NC and would be happy to lay down some piano/keyboard tracks with you. Keep up the great work, and I will be in touch.
